My feelings about winter.

Silly putty

Out of order of course, but here is an updated pic of our little girl!

While Christmas shopping this last time, Ethan and I found a bunch of $1 silly putty. We have seen Kira and Ri playing with it during Sacrament meeting and it seems to be a pretty big hit with them as well as being a quiet toy. So we bought some for Mark.

Last night he went to bed with it. Ethan finds him with three big globs in his hair this morning. At first we were thinking we might just have to shave all of his hair off, but after talking to Marme, she suggested peanut butter. I have heard of using peanut butter on gum, but have not heard anything about silly putty. The first two globs came out pretty easily, but the last one was really thin and matted in by his roots. Several more globs of peanut butter were thrown in, and I am sure I will continue to find bits an pieces of silly putty in his hair for a while, but he did manage to look decent again. I am glad we were able to save his hair. I don't want to shave it. I love it too much.
